How to get to Bratislava

Bratislava is located in Central Europe, in the middle of a triangle, whose corners are formed by the cities of Vienna, Budapest and Prague. All of these cities are connected to Bratislava by multi-lane highways which make Bratislava easily and conveniently accessible from all directions.

Coming by plane:
If you want to fly to Bratislava, you can choose between the city's own international airport - Airport of M.R. Stefanik in Bratislava (approximately 9 km from city centre) and Schwechat airport in Vienna, which is about 40 km away from Bratislava. Vienna Airport and Bratislava are connected by regular shuttle buses, single ticket costs 7,70 €, return 13,30 €. Fro more information visit www.slovaklines.sk.

Coming by car:
- from Brno / Prague – highway E65/D2, direction Bratislava
- from Košice / Poprad-Tatry / Krakow / Žilina – highway E75/E58/D1, direction Bratislava
- from Budapest – highway E75/E60/M1, direction Bratislava, SK
- from Vienna / Schwechat Airport – highway A4, then A6/E58, direction Bratislava

Coming by train and by bus:
- from Bratislava Main Train Station (Bratislava Hlavná stanica) - 3 km, take tram no. 13 and get off at Šafárikovo square (Šafárikovo nám.)
- from Bratislava Bus Station Mlynske Nivy – 2 km, takebus no. 50 to Wüstenrot and there change to bus no. 78 to Šafárikovo square (Šafárikovo námestie)
